What Is The AWWA?

What is the Arabian Working Western Alliance?

The Arabian Working Western Alliance (AWWA) is a newly formed non-profit corporation created to promote the breeding, showing, and ownership of Arabian and Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian horses that compete in working western disciplines. Encouraged by the success of our “sister” organizations, AEPA, AWPA and AHPA, the AWWA will offer prize money beginning in 2019 at the AHA U.S. Nationals through the creation of our Bonanza Program. The AWWA supports all aspects of the working western Arabian industry with prize money in Reining, Reined Cow Horse, Trail, Ranch Riding, Herd Work, and Cutting. Our focus is on the amateur for both the purebred and Half-Arabian classes. Our goal of expanding the interest in Arabian working western horses includes efforts at the local and regional levels, with Incentive Funds available to shows and clinics to increase the opportunities available for the presentation of Arabian & Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian working western horses to other exhibitors and the general public.
